In July of 2011, John Fletcher and his wife Donna, purchased Carolina Bomanite from the founders - Mike and Barbara Bernath - with the main focus to continue the same level of expertise and quality you've come to expect after 39 years. John started with the company in 1999 as Marketing Coordinator, responsible for sales and marketing. John crafted his hardscape skills prior to working for Carolina Bomanite in the landscape construction business. He honed these skills by participating in many Bomanite and Lithocrete technical training programs over the years along with his on-the-job installation experience. John is recognized by many in the architectural community for his many educational programs on the use of decorative concrete that he has presented over the years. He is also active in several concrete organizations, and is an ACI certified flatwork technician, pervious concrete technician, and provides expert analysis of concrete issues . The company remains a family-owned business with emphasis on continuing this tradition of unsurpassed excellence. John continues to manage the day-to-day business while Donna works in the office and HR areas. Sister Joy handles estimating, marketing and is the front-line for the many requests for plan review and project bidding.
